Mesoporous Silica

Taiyo’s Mesoporous Silica (TMPS) consists of silicon oxide arranged in a well-defined symmetrical honeycomb-like nanometer porous structure derived in the presence of self-assembled organic molecules (i.e. template micelles). TMPS possesses high specific surface areas (~ 1,000 m2/g) and large pore volumes (~1 cm3/g) with rigid/stable uni-dimensional framework structure.
