Lowering of Cholesterol

Lowered cholesterol. Heightened health.
Cholesterol is a well-known danger to health. Finding it, in conjunction with peroxidized phospholipids in blood vessels, can indicate many lifestyle-related diseases. Fortunately, the abundant catechins found in green tea clean up cholesterol in blood vessels. According to one study, blood cholesterol levels dropped from 229.4 to 217.8 after drinking green tea for two months. These same catechins also reduce peroxidized phospholipids in blood vessels. In another study, the measure of phosphatidylcholine hydroperoxide decreased from 73.7 to 44.6 after the intake of green tea. Both studies prove green tea catechins to be an effective combatant of cholesterol and peroxidized phospholipids.
