If you’ve been diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome and
Type 2 Diabetes, here’s promising news you can act on today

Study published in the British Journal of Nutrition suggests that you might be able
to easily manage some of your risk factors by adding Sunfiber to your diet

If you are among the millions of American adults who have been diagnosed with the combination of Metabolic Syndrome and Type 2 Diabetes, you are at high risk for heart disease and other serious complications. Finally there’s some good news that’s getting international attention: You may be able to easily manage some of your risk factors simply by a specific soluble fiber – known as Sunfiber – to your diet.

Nearly 30 percent of American adults have been diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome1, which is actually a cluster of risk factors including elevated blood pressure, elevated blood sugar, unhealthy cholesterol levels and abdominal fat. The Centers for Disease Control also estimate that as many as one in three U.S. adults could also have diabetes by 2050 if current trends continue. Type 2 diabetes accounts for 90-95 percent of those cases.

Good news travels fast
Now results of a human clinical trial published in the British Journal of Nutrition are causing a stir across several continents. In the randomized, placebo-controlled study, 44 patients diagnosed with both Metabolic Syndrome and Type 2 Diabetes followed their usual diets and received either 10 grams of Sunfiber partially hydrolyzed guar gum or a placebo for six weeks. They were evaluated at baseline, four and six weeks.

While both groups lost inches around their waistlines, the Sunfiber group also benefitted from reductions in HbA1c, a blood glucose marker; lower urinary albumin excretion, an indicator of kidney function; and a reduced amount of trans fatty acids in their bloodstreams. These results were seen as early as four weeks.

More good news: It’s easy to use
Mention “fiber” and some people immediately picture unappealing gritty globs that won’t dissolve no matter how much you stir. Not anymore. Sunfiber is tasteless, colorless, odorless, gluten free and rapidly dissolves in most any liquids of your choosing (water, juices or even smoothies). A true regulating fiber, it also improves both constipation and diarrhea.
