Green tea has demonstrated antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, antimutagenic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anticariogenic, antimutagenic, thermogenic, kidney protecting, deodorizing, and blood glucose and blood lipid controlling properties.
Taiyo’s prowess in green tea technology was recently enhanced with a merger resulting in the world’s largest green tea extract manufacturer, Taiyo Green Power. Located in Wuxi, China, Taiyo Green Power has an annual capacity of 2,500 metric tons, supplying to the food, supplement and pharmaceutical industries.
